Calling all violins, violas, and cellos!  If you are a strings player - or if you would like to become one - the new Pine Crest Strings Camp is a program for you.  Pine Crest Strings conductor Deena Shapiro will direct a team of experienced musical coaches.  This two-week session combines master class and small group instruction with ensemble playing in both chamber music and orchestra formats.  Strings Camp welcomes children who have never played an instrument as well as those who have strings experience.  A limited number of instruments will be available for rental during Strings Camp.  Please be sure to specify playing level on the Registration Form for appropriate group placement:  Beginning (never played a string instrument), Intermediate (playing 1-2 years), Advanced (playing 3 years or more).
